Before you come for the Health Checkup

Appointments & Timings

Appointments for Saturdays must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
The department functions on all working days except Sundays and Public Holidays.
Please contact the department for available slots and details.

Fasting & Diet

Minimum 10-12 hours fasting is required prior to the checkup.
You may drink plain water during fasting.
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before the checkup.
Diabetic patients should not take anti-diabetic medications in the morning. Carry your medicines/insulin and have them after breakfast post-consultation.

Samples & Reports

A small stool sample should be brought along. Sample containers are available at the Pathology Lab.
Carry your past medical reports and list of current medications.

For Female Patients

Urine routine and Pap smear tests cannot be done during menstruation.
If you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy, please inform our staff, as X-rays and certain other tests cannot be performed.
Ideally, Mammography and Sono-mammography should be done together for best results.

For Male Patients

Please shave chest hair before a Stress Test to ensure proper electrode placement and accurate results.

Corporate Patients

An authorization letter from your company is required to avail services covered by the company.

Additional Information

The Consultant Physician will provide medical opinion based on the included package tests.
Any additional tests or consultations advised by the Consultant, not part of the package, will be charged separately.
Report availability for such additional tests depends on the type of investigation.

Additional Notes

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for treadmill/fitness tests.
Avoid heavy exercise on the morning of the checkup.
Avoid jewelry and makeup if undergoing imaging (X-ray, Mammogram, USG).
Plan to spend 3–5 hours at the hospital, depending on the package.
