In addition, he is an interventional Pain management consultant at MGM Hospital Vashi Vashi, Navi Mumbai and MGM Hospital CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Sidharth Verma has been trained at prestigious national institutes like the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow and Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. A qualified Interventional Pain Physician, Dr. Sidharth Verma holds the prestigious PDCC in Pain Management, from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is the only doctor in the city with the qualification. In addition, he is a double post graduate in Anaesthesiology and holds both MD and DNB degree in Anaesthesiology. He is the first clinician exclusively practicing clinical pain management in a teaching medical college as a regular faculty – MGM Medical College at Navi Mumbai in India. He is the first one to set up an exclusive pain clinic in the region in a medical college and actively teaches pain management to the medical graduates and post graduates as a part of his job responsibilities. He is actively involved in research activities and has presented 5 papers in national and international conferences. He has attended 23 conferences in Anaesthesiology (15) and Pain (08) and is pursuing clinical practice in accordance with the latest evidence based guidelines.
Dr. Sidharth Verma is a regular faculty in many National Pain and Anaesthesia conferences where he imparts training in Pain Management to participants. He also conducts AHA certified ACLS and BLS workshops at various institutions all over India. His areas of interest include regeneration therapy for joint and spine pain and novel methods of pain assessment and diagnosis. Dr. Sidharth Verma is a founder member of the Indian Society of Pain Clinicians (ISPC) and an active member of International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), Indian Society for the Study of Pain (ISSP), Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA), Research Society of Anaesthesiology and clinical pharmacology (RSACP) and World Institute of Pain (WIP). He also takes active part in social activities and regularly conducts and participates in social camps for the underprivileged.
