Brief Description

Dr. Sushilkumar Patil, MBBS, MD (Radiology), FVIR has been appointed as Interventional Radiologist. He is available in Radiology Department between 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m., Monday to Saturday for Image guided procedures (USG/CT guided). He does&nbsp;on Call for Interventional Radiology services (Cath lab procedures).

Dr. Sushil has passed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai &amp; MD Radiology from NSCB Govt Medical College, Jabalpur (MP). He did his Fellowship &amp; Senior Residency in Interventional Radiology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai from 2011-2015.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

USG guided:-

	<li>Liver biopsy and FNAC, Liver abscess aspiration &amp; pigtailing,</li>
	<li>Biopsy and FNAC of abdomino-pelvic masses,</li>
	<li>Aspiration &amp; pigtailing of abdomino-pelvic and chest collections.</li>
	<li>Breast biopsy, FNAC, Wire localisation of nonpalpable breast lesions.</li>
	<li>Trans-rectal Ultrasound guided 12 core Prostate biopsy ( OPD procedure)</li>
	<li>Renal biopsy</li>
</ul>

CT guided:-

<ul>
	<li>Biopsy of Lung and mediastinal &amp; retroperitoneal masses</li>
	<li>Liver biopsy and FNAC&nbsp;</li>
	<li>Bone biopsy</li>
	<li>Aspiration &amp; Pigtailing of liver abscess, abdomino-pelvic and chest collections.</li>
</ul>

Interventional Radiological procedures:-

	<li>Peripheral Angiography&amp; Angioplasty.</li>
	<li>Cerebral 4V DSA Angiography.</li>
	<li>Varicose veins Laser Ablation.</li>
	<li>Sclerotherapy for AV Malformation.</li>
	<li>Permanent catheter insertion for Hemodialysis.</li>
	<li>Venoplasty for central venous occlusion.</li>
	<li>Biliary drainage (PTBD) &amp; stenting.</li>
	<li>DVT Thrombolysis.</li>
	<li>IVC filter insertion &amp; retrieval.</li>
	<li>Gastrointestinal bleeding Embolisation.</li>
